What happens if a non-profit fails to pick up the donation?
We are prepared to address instances of failed pick-up and to contact the designated nonprofit in addressing any confusion about the donation assignment process. If desired please resubmit the remaining items for donation for potential matching with other qualified nonprofits. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your donation and participation in helping eAngel build a community of sharing. How should nonprofit deal with failure to pickup donations?
The donation you have accepted has not been picked up after an extended period. We always sympathize with nonprofits and the difficulties that they encounter but it it is imperative you contact us immediately when there is a problem. Please let us know if you are capable of making this pick up now, or whether we should discontinue your eAngel membership. The donor has been patient and needs a response. Thank you for your attention to this matter and for you support in helping eAngel build a community of sharing.

What happens if donation is not completely picked up?
It appears that your generous donation was effectively matched with the needs of a local nonprofit, except for certain items which were not picked up. We will follow up to address any confusion it may have about the donation selection process. If desired please resubmit the remaining items for donation to other qualified nonprofits seeking your gift. We apologize for any inconvenience, and thank you for your donation and participation in helping eAngel build a community of sharing. Please contact us if we may be of any further assistance.

How do I get my new donation picked up?
Thank you for your generous donation to eAngel nonprofit members. Please know that it may be helpful for you to review the eAngel home page and “How to Donate”. Notably, most everything of reasonably good quality is of interest to the disadvantaged people in your geographic area. Simply proceed to “Donate Now”, register and complete your new donation. eAngel will then go to work and notify you by email during the process.Yes, the nonprofit organizations will pick up your donation. How do I make registration changes?
Please note that it is the responsibity of each eAngel member to login to the eAngel website and make the changes that are necessary to update your personal registration information. This is found in “My eAngel” for both donors and nonprofits. Please login with your prior user name and password. If you don’t remember your password you will be prompted. Thank you for your attention to this important matter.

What must nonprofits do about donation pickup?
We appreciate your participation with eAngel Community. Please remember that it is important for each nonprofit to contact the donor as instructed to make arrangements for the pick up of donations that have been claimed from eAngel. It is advisable to review the home page instructions (How it Works) and be sure to provide gift acknowledgement to donors for all received donations.

Why has my donation not been claimed?
While your generous donation is surely needed by many deserving nonprofits it sometimes takes a bit longer for nonprofits to respond online because their resources are often not as deep or vigilant as the “for profit sector” . Please be patient as we we have rarely failed to match a meaningful donation with a nonprofit need. Our eAngel donors are benevolent, and the eAngel objective to fulfill “in kind” needs has successfully been achieved throughout our history because of people like you. Again, thank you for your participation and if your donation period expires feel free to resubmit your gift. Please contact us if needed.

Does nonprofit provide donor gift acknowledgement?
All donors receive donation confirmation from the receiving nonprofit organization. Please retain this for your records and tax purposes. If you do not receive this within two weeks from the time the donation is picked up or delivered please contact us, thank you.

Registration
Can I have dual registration as both nonprofit and donor?
Please know that in order to be both a donor and a nonprofit eAngel member we require two different email addresses, otherwise we cannot differentiate entities for conmmunication purposes. Please proceed with registration for each accordingly, thank you.

Is my nonprofit registration still active?
Please access www.eangelcommunity.org and login. Be sure to revise your wish list and contact us with further questions.We appreciate your continued interest in our effort to build a community of sharing, and look forward to helping fulfill your future needs.

How do eAngel donors register?
We thank you for your interest and welcome your participation. Registration is simple and required in order to make “in kind” or non-cash donations. Simply visit www.myeangel.org and click on “donate now” and then proceed accordingly; there is no cost.

How do I change my email address?
You must login and go to "Edit My eAngel” under Account Details. This will require your user name and password. Simply amend your registration with the new email address. Please contact us if needed, thank you.

Donation Claim Process
How does nonprofit claim a donation after being notified?
A donation has been made that appears to be on your wish list. Simply click on it in the email notice you received and a donor profile will be sent to you for contact purposes. It will be helpful for you to review “How to Receive” in the eAngel Home Page, and be sure to submit feedback on the Home Page. Where are the donations for nonprofits?
The eAngel mission is to match “in kind” donations with nonprofit needs. We do not inventory items and donations are claimed primarily when a nonprofit is notified by email of a gift matching a wish list item. Please update your wish list in “My eAngel“in the eAngel web site if necessary. Perhaps you would like to review the home page “How to Receive”. Your patience is much appreciated, because we are in the process of attracting “in kind” or non-cash donations for eAngel nonprofit members. We have been successful in fulfilling wish list requests and look forward to helping you.

How to retrieve lost password?
Simply login on the eAngel home page, and if you’ve forgotten your password a prompt will instruct you on how to reset your password. Please contact us if you have further problems and be sure to update your wish list if you are a nonprofit.

How do I make Wish List changes?
Please know that at any time you need to amend your current wish list simply login and go to "Build or Edit My Wish List" and delete or add any item accordingly. Please contact us if needed, thank you.

How do I contact a donor after claiming a donation?
The eAngel mission is to match “in kind” or non-cash donations with nonprofit needs. We do not inventory items and donations are claimed primarily when a nonprofit is notified by email that a donation matches a wish list item. Nonprofits must complete a wish list in “My eAngel” in the eAngel registration process. This is all explained in “How it Works” on the eAngel home page.
You can CONTACT DONORS when you have successfully claimed a donated item by responding to an email notification of donation assignment. Once this is done eAngel will immediately email a donor profile to the nonprofit, authorizing it to contact the donor and arrange for donation pick up, or in some cases, donor delivery.

Why nonprofit has not received a donation notification?
Please make sure that your registration is in order and email address is current. Otherwise, if your wish list is limited that is probably the main reason why you seldom receive a donation email notification. It is key that you expand this list to increase the probability of receiving a gift. Thank you for joining eAngel Community in supporting our effort to build a community of sharing.

Acceptable Donations
Does eAngel Accept Home Demolition?
If you have a home that is being demolished we would like to know about it. Simply login as donor or register to become an eAngel member donor. Then click on "Donate", describe your donation as home demolition, and click the link below to identify "Home Demolition" item categories you wish to give away. We will match this donation with the needs of a deserving nonprofit, coordinate the removal, and arrange for pickup of the items you wish to donate.Thank you for your generous donation and help in building a community of sharing.
